I'll start by giving a bit of information about myself. I'm currently nineteen years old and have been interested in programming, network security software engineering and the like for about five years. My knowledge though, is very little. This is due to my finding it incredibly difficult to stay motivated and on track. I believe the reason for this is the lack of relations with like minded people. I would really appreciate it if anyone with any IMing program interested in either guiding me a bit in the right direction, learning with me, or just wanting to expand the number of programmers with which they're associated, could list the IM service and their affiliated username. Thanks in advance for any responses. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

If you have any questions I am sure anybody here would be glad to help you with them.

I think this place should setup a IRC channel and have weekly lectures for anybody to come and learn that would be good! If you agree say "i++"!!

Welcome aboard! Have you downloaded the source code for Pigin? That will probably give you all the IM tips you could ever want.

We had an IRC channel for a while, but nobody was ever on.
