i think its pretty clear, which do you like more regular desktop pc or a laptop?
and say why?
yo homie i heard you like one-line codes so i put a one line code that evals a decrypted one line code that prints "i love one line codes"
eval(base64_decode("cHJpbnQgJ2kgbG92ZSBvbmUtbGluZSBjb2Rlcyc7"));

i choose Desktop because it simply kicks ass and live longer
i know its not portable but its much more cheaper and upgradeable

Laptop. It is portable and does everything I need. I have 0 use for my desktop.

laptop. the ability to carry a computer everywhere is better than being slightly faster and having the ability to upgrade.

What about Netbooks? I didn't see that option (not that I would select it).

I think you would include netbooks in the laptops group in this case, as your really debating the same issues (portability, speed, upgradeability etc.) and laptops and netbooks both have the portablity but are lacking a little in the speed department (well, especially netbooks but they are intentionally built that way) and for both it is not optimal to upgrade anything major.

I voted laptops, but I LOVE desktops for raw power at work.

I spent years working on a none-too-powerful laptop, then realised that I never carried it around anywhere (I am not a business user, obviously). For me power beats portability, and my vote goes to desktops.
