I think they should concentrate on the prices more and this is a good tactic. If Mac would get into the OS market they would dominate. Instead, they are in the overpriced hardware market even though they don't make any hardware themselves and use all the same hardware that a PC uses. Which brings up another point, is a Mac not a Personal Computer then? So I have to use it for business purposes then? wtf?

if you've read up on this series of ads - "laptop hunters" you would know that the person is only aware that they are doing marketing research for an unnamed company. it is not until they have brought the pc that they are told its really for microsoft and they get to decide weather they would like to participate in the ad or not. this is whats being said offically by microsoft, im sure those that hate microsoft (im looking at you linux/mac fanbois) will not believe it and attack it anyhow.

I have never liked, Apple's and Microsoft's way to advertise.
As far I am, I like how Macs are build, they are cool and silent(whenever they are not in work), a common Dell or HP laptop gets fired but just by booting up and being idle. I don't like that nor do I think someone else does it too.
Anyways, I am a PC I like PC:es since I can upgrade parts for a cheaper price which means more things for more needs, new mouse, new keyboard or etc. Even so I can run Winbloats if I hunger for games or just run Linux and not bother myself with problems that M$ always likes to present as "innovation".
So that's it.

I was at Toys'R'Us yesterday, and in the videogame section they had two EEE PC 701's next to each other. The Windows XP one was toasted in permanent reboot. Last known config didn't work, nothing did. It was hosed. The Linux one had the games section open and was working just fine :)

The version they had was with an 8GB HD. Newer, but not the newest.
