Going for my bachelors in computer programming, I have a choice to either follow statistics or calculus... which do you think would be more beneficial to a future career in computer programming?

Stats is more useful to business, but without calc you can't go very far. Advanced stats includes Calculus, discrete math, and basic stats.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

I would recommend calculus. It is pretty much the "language" of anything advanced. However, software probably uses more statistics than calculus, nonetheless I would still recommend calculus.
