well, im just starting, and i really dont know the best language for a beginner to learn :/
ill take any suggestions :)
btw, thanks for the warm welcome, you guys are awesome hahaha
i heard python was a good place to start though
edit: im mainly a windows and ubuntu linux user, but if i made programs, i think i would lean more towards windows

Python is great place to start, it has very simple syntax which can help you in many other languages.
From reading that, I am guessing you are interested in writing software applications?
