AJAX is imperative to most dynamic websites.. and the J in AJAX stands for JavaScript.

He is talking about Frameworks, not AJAX.

False, he is talking about frameworks and general JavaScript (such as when used in AJAX).
I would love to become more familiar with both JavaScript and a JavaScript Library

You don't need to know a lot of JS to do AJAX. There is frameworks created that requires hardly any JavaScript.

Only I short while you were telling me how using Google's tools (in that case Google Charts) was no match for learning the PHP image functioins. You fail again. -rep lawl.

Maybe so, but for learning purposes you can't beat learning the ins and outs of AJAX.

For learning purposes, it's best to go to the highest level to make it easier for everything else. How did you get AJAX from Google API's?
