Could someone please give me a list or something of that nature of what i need to do to write a program in Java? I have been playing with Visual Basic for quite sometime and would like to try Java out.
Also, How would you rate Java vs. Visual Basic
I've been trying to design a program to change the left and right click of a selected person over a LAN computer and I can't figure it out
Also, If someone could help me I would also like to figure out how to run an application from my computer remotely over the LAN to their computer. How would this be accomplished? does anyone have any knowledge of this?
and finally, I have a book passed on to me by my teacher:
"Java how to program" (6th edition) By: Deitel
how well would that do on the lines of teaching a beginner java?
any help is appreciated :)
Series of java questions that i need help with plz

I'm not even close to a java expert. I read the threads, though.

However I see you as a C++ expert, since you know a lot of it :)
