Hi everyone.
If i have a website template and wanted to allow my daughter to edit her own page on the website without altering any of the layout. For instance, changing one picture for another or text editing. Could a vb.net program be written that would enable her to select a picture, write some text etc, then click a button and update the html.template with the changes? It would be great if she could see the page to edit it but that is not highly important as text boxes and image holders would suffice.
If so, where should i be looking for help?
Thanks
Pete

Yes, this is possible. An easier alternative would be to use a CMS such as Joomla and give her restricted access, basically just enabling her to change the pages she wants. It would be fairly easy for this to happen. I'm sure there is other solutions already out there for this.

I agree, a CMS sounds like the best solution to your problem.

Yes, a good CMS can provide such options successfully.

This is usually achieved via a CMS, of which there are many varieties available (both commercial and free).
