G'day all!
I am the newest member of your community.
I'm a man of not many, nor few words, though, I'm not average.
I can be quirky, arrogant, fun-loving, or simply bored.
I'm a proud C programmer (as my signature suggests).
Though recently I've decided to broaden my resume of languages.
The languages I wish to learn include:
C++
Java
PHP
MySQL
C#
Visual Basic
Python
and...
That's all I can think of at the moment.
A short list of already known languages:
(X)HTML
CSS
JavaScript
C
Batch
and an unusable self-made language titled DD (figure out where that one came from).
Other than that...
hmm
Actually that's me...
Oh, I'm also a proud user of AutoDesk software.
Mainly Maya and Inventor
If you're still reading at this point, you're a decent person!
Greetings CodeCall Community!

Welcome aboard! You already know some C++, but may have some bad habits from the C++ perspective.

I know C++ is derivative of C, but I don't get what you mean by "bad habits from the C++ perspective"
Do you mean because of the differing syntaxes?
I'll have you know I don't care, {refer to my signature}

C++ was designed to make some of the C techniques obsolete, such as using macros. It also has techniques that make printf and scanf less useful. Basically, a C program is probably a valid C++ program, but there is a LOT you can do with C++ that simply isn't an option in C.

Your answer to my question was not very clear, as I do not know why you wanted to learn C.

and I simply love dead or dying things. I don't know why, but I love being part of the last of something, even if I join it late in its life.
Though, I believe C will never die, at least no more than Latin did.

I simply love dead or dying things
I meant technological things, for example, I lust for an Apple ][

Lol, that is new for me. I have never heard of that characteristic in psychology either. Do you still use dial-up because is is a dying technology? Don't mistake my questions as making fun. It is that I am interested in your last statement.

No
As far as the internet goes, for me anyway, the older it is, the worse it is.
I know, it's an oxy moron, but I can't explain it.
And... this is going to make me sound like the nerdiest office worker who loves bad technology (even though I'm a high school freshman), but I really want an Apple |||
Simply because I have an urge to follow Apple's command and drop it on my desk.

An Apple III. Are you referring to those old desktops that ran on a 5 1/4 floppy?
