Hello,
I am einsteinsboi, good to be here :). I like everything computer related, and indulge in coding mostly as a hobby, and occasionally even make some money from it. I live on the East Coast (US) and enjoy computers (obviously), listening to music, playing guitar, reading, hiking, and a bunch of other activities. I have a pet turtle.
I know (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, VB6, some C/C++ (complete novice), and have been dabbling lately in Python. I also spend a lot of time playing with Content Management Systems (my current fav is Drupal) and building websites.
I am in the healthcare profession and thus don't have a lot of time to indulge my hobbies, but I make the best of it.
Looking forward to meeting all of you and learning and sharing!
Hey there

I don't know Python well enough yet to critique it, but so far I've found it to be a comfortable program to code in. I find the syntax to be clean and easy to follow, and I'm enjoying learning it. I'm interesting in seeing just what I can accomplish with it. The book I'm using unfortunately has more theory than anything else, and I am the kind of person who learns best by doing, so I'm looking for more resources to supplement my text and give me more practice.
What do you think of it?

I haven't used it, but I know it is a pretty common scripting language in Linux systems.
