I had my first day of my artificial intelligence class yesterday, and we got our first group assignments. The only thing is I really can't figure out what he means XD.

We are supposed to create 50 "deftests" showing that we understand the material from this learn lisp book. He really didn't explain what a deftest was but I looked it up and found a site (Using CLUnit: An Introduction and Tutorial) that explained it as a macro for running tests.

What kind of tests do you think he would want us to create to show we understand chapters of a book?

Sorry if I come across as an idiot, I still know next to nil lisp and maybe I just am stupid.

Thanks guys!

It would depend a lot on what the material was. I'm not trying to be difficult, but you would be testing a program implementing the concepts discussed.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

Ya thats all we can gather it would be...but its so vague.

And the material is literally the ANSI Common Lisp book by Paul Graham...just your everyday LISP for dummies more or less.

Alrighty, we are just going to have to talk to him I guess...was just making sure we aren't idiots and misunderstanding something somewhere.
