the title says it all

i had this really wierd virus that renames "my compute", "my documents", and "recycle bin"
i got this virus a year ago and i cant get rid of it, heres a sample:

maybe with the windows updates ill get the new president name

lol. That seems more like spyware or other program rather than a virus (as it is just a simple registry edit). Don't you have McAfee or Norton or AVG Free?

I haven't gotten virus since I was 10 years old, now days I use the best protection that is called common sense 2009 !

I once had a virus that played an alien soundclip every 5 seconds, it was pretty amusing.

lol nice one..i really havent had a virus in my pc.. Once i got it and it made my pc super slow..but it was few years ago.. Btw i dont use a virus protection ;) im just careful ^^

i got a trojan once that disabled most of my applications on PC .. i had to re-install the windows .. now i use avast anti-virus .. works perfect for me :)

I use AVG, it seems to work fairly well... Once I got a virus called AntiVirus 2009, I had to re-install Windows also. I lost most of my data :(

That's why you should always backup !
External or online, always backup valuable data !

i use eset nod32 now, when i got this virus i didnt have any antivirus
whatever antivirus i get it can rename the recycle bin, and im too lazy to search for a way to change it
