I have absolutely no way to pay 2 play, so looking for play 4 free mmorpgs.
I would really like to know if there is any good games under Linux/Win(running dualboot), native or under wine(or even virtually, depending if game runs with gl geometry !)
So I have high hopes from you guys :)
P.S - I have lurked around and most people are rude and I feel really stupid while surfing and not finding what I wanted :(
Thanks in advance guys !

I think Battle of Wesnoth is pretty popular and crossplatform. I'm not really into MMORPGs myself. You can find a lot of stuff on sourceforge.net

I checked at sourceforge.net but can't find the mmorpg section, could you help the blind man?

This will take you to the RPG games section. Most of the MMORPG's are appropriately labeled. SourceForge.net: Software Map I recommend adding some filters to Exclude: Development Status: Planning, Pre-Alpha, and Alpha. That will get you down to around 1072 projects. Excluding Beta as well brings it down to 600. Putting OS requirements will help as well, of course.

Of course, now you have me browsing around in their games section, seeing what I want to try playing with next. One of the things that kills me is the claim that there are "no games for Linux". There are thousands of games for Linux, and most of them are free!

Indeed there are a lot of games for linux, however I would comment on that point. Most games are rather simple and not as expected out of the users, while complex games uses a lot of energy to run under somewhat "bad drivers". I mean my card isn't supported 100%, Intel 945GM. I can't play 3D games fairly nor can I see MKV files as I can under windows, however this just my exception.
tl;dr - There a lot of linux games; but not supported for me

It depends on what you're looking for in a game. Quake 1-3 have all been opensourced, and Nexuiz is available as well. They range from crude graphics to fairly advanced. You can still get Doom with the sprite-graphics. I consider the gameplay to be roughly equivalent between them, but your mileage may vary. The same is true of other games. Flash also offers a lot of options, as long as you can get it going.

Indeed those games are fun for smaller time;but I want one game I can put time into and do something fun while putting this effort or time I have into it. Such games are mmorpgs, however I have not seen any fair enough good and fully "working" games, due to bad drivers on my part :(

I know that World of Warcraft can be played using Wine on Linux (Or Cedega transgamming, or that other emulator). It is not free though (but very fun). I've read that WarHammer also works with Wine but this game isn't free either. More information on WarHammer + Wine: WineHQ - Warhammer Online Live
I've managed to find a list of Linux MMORPGs: List of Linux MMORPGs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It looks like some neat games listed there but I noticed not all are free.

Neat, I have thought about WoW and I can easy obtain "Pay checks" to pay 2 play; but It won't run in my laptop under Linux and by using WINE. My gfx card isn't fully supported :(
Intel 945GM express.

*Cough* Wow sucks *Cough*
If you can gather up $65.52 you can get all three guild wars campaigns Amazon.com: Guild Wars Trilogy: Software
Eye of the north is $40 i think. You are saving a lot of money by doing the trilogy set i have $200 put into mine. But that is a one time cost and then it is free to play forever. The funnest and most adicting game ever. So much better then other sucky crapily modled games with stupid hordes that shall remain nameles.
