I recently got my hands and installed the new Windows 7 Beta. So far it is pretty quick and the taskbar features are pretty near. The only problem I ran into was I had to connect my laptop to ethernet and have it update my drivers so my wifi card would work, but it downloaded the appropriate drivers for me.
According to some other reviews, it is faster and less buggy then vista and it is still only in beta.

Well I have not played with it fully, but from my experience and reading other experiences. The beta is better then Vista SP1.

It looks a lot like vista, but there is defiantly a different feeling about it. Maybe a sign of relief? I will post about it when I get more into it. Although the taskbar does not look like it has anything new but some of the features it shows are pretty neat.

Its a 30 day public trial, but I did get it from a torrent and I plan to run a crack. I was told I can even set the time back.

I would like it if they started removing some of the bloat from Vista... but they've already said that won't happen.

Indeed, also I who does not use tablet functions and the media center do NOT want them to be bundled in the OS. It should be an option :(

Well, Windows 7 was supposed to be based around touchscreens, so maybe that's gonna be the future of computing. I can't see it being faster than a keyboard for inputting text, though.
Neither do I, still if there is demands from people who are willing to pay for touchscreen OS, then I don't see a reason not to create on for them?
