As archaic as this question sounds...Have you had any requests for a COBOL forum.
COBOL is not my favorite language, and I really didn't care much for it in college, but I use it now professionally. As I worked my way through school, I was under the impression that it was a dead language, and not very useful, but ended up landing a job as a COBOL programmer.
So where am I going with this..... hmmm not sure. I'm not really requesting a COBOL forum, just curious if anyone has considered this.
Any call for COBOL

Other languages can be talked about in the general programming board. If enough questions and discussions go on then the mods and admins will make a board for it. Posted via CodeCall Mobile

Termana is correct. There have been no requests, that I can recall, other than yours. Feel free to post any discussions in the General Programming area and any tutorials in the tutorial section.

My sister is the only other person I know of who has done any COBOL programming. I have a book on it, but it looks torturous to work with.

I might be able to put together something in COBOL. I also had another tutorial idea...a java encryption program I wrote several years ago.
