Hello! Well I registered on these forums awhile ago, but I just now discovered them again. I have very little programming experience. I had a bit of a brush with Perl (if you can call it that) and then I stopped trying to learn any programming language at all. I have come back to seek help on learning the x86 assembly language. I want to learn this language to get a good understanding of computers and how they work. I would also like to try to write a few little projects in x86. Where should I start? I really do not have any idea. Anyone have links to free e-books for beginners on the subject? Or can someone just help me get started with it?

Well although I do not know any x86 I could provide you with C++ guides and some good resources to help you get starter there which would also give you a good understanding about computers and how they work.
