hey guys
Im in my first year of a computer science degree. I havnt been a regular member of a forum for a while now, and I thought it might be useful to belong to a programming forum, and this one seemed to be one of the biggest. the language im learning is python. I saw it in the scripting section of the forum, and I was wondering why? I don't know much about scripting languages, but i was told python is a general purpose language. Anyway this seems like a nice forum so I hope it goes well here.

Hey yamman13, good luck with your degree man, sounds fun. I have limited programming experience, took some intro courses in college, but I'm finding that I need to know a lot more to get my site working the way I want it. I came here to find out more options for how to run my site and I'll probably be reading more than contributing here, since I still fee like a noob at times.
