I was wondering if to actually use paypal, and stuff, if you have to have a credit card. Just wondering. *COUGHsetuppaypalaccountanddidn'tknowifcoulduseitCOUGH*

You mean can you use something like a bank account instead of a credit card? Yes. I doubt you can put purchases on a tab though, if you mean to buy stuff through PayPal on something like the honor system.

I mean like, when I log in, there is a spot that says how much money on my account and it says $0.00, could I get donations or something and when someone buys something like something on ebay, would it just go to the paypal account and I have it like a bank account in itself?

It has been a while since I read up on the paypal logistics, but I am confident a minimum age of 18 is required to take advantage of all the capabilities of paypal. A credit card is a means of verification, unless you have a student account. Best bet is to enter a bank account and credit card.

I am pretty sure if you want to couduct certain activities you will ned to verify it. for example, I don't think ebay will allow you to sell without a verified account.

Yea if you want to send the money in your account somewhere else then you have to verify your account. Any type of transfer your account needs to be verified.

You have to verify it to withdraw your money, as far as I know.

Although you can always buy gift cards and purchase stuff from ebay :D

To use paypal you will need to have an active verified account which requires a bank account being attached to the paypal account which will require a credit card.
