the fan of my 8800GT is broken, when it spins, it touches the side of the fan case. i have the GC for about 6 months now, and havent had problems until about 2 weeks. it makes a strange noise. the fan is not horizontally attached anymore. its still firmly attacked. i tried to fix it but i dont know how.

what should i do?

If it's under warranty, I'd call the manufacturer. Otherwise, you're probably going to need to buy a new fan.

You can buy computer parts online from a variety of retailers, or you may have a local computer parts store.

PCs are very spacious inside, you should have no trouble opening the case and just popping one in. Check the new fan is compatible with the PSU just in case.

Xav, he's talking about a fan mounted on a graphics card, not a case fan
