Hi Guys

I want to create an instant messaging service in C#. I have created quite a few applications before but I have no idea where to start with this. Can some please point me in the right direction on how to get started or maybe link me to some examples?

Thanks JGRobinson.

Are there any concepts I should learn other then socket programming and threading before I start? Also, does anyone know any good books for these? I can't seem to find a c# book that cover socket programming in much detail.

I'm quite new to C#, but I think you will need WinSock32.
