Hey guys, just thought I'd better introduce myself (as Jordan's welcome PM says ;)).
I am Althaz and I am from Australia. I usually spend part of each year in sunny England where I try to see as much of my beloved Liverpool (that's a football/soccer team) as is humanly possible.
I first programmed I think in Visual Basic in school then I taught myself C++ then Pascal then recently I learned Java, moved back to Visual Basic and this morning I learned C# (though not the whole thing the basic syntax was easy to pick up).
I am currently suffering from the double equal sign blues because for some reason (well because I was using VB before this) I keep forgetting to include them in comparisons. At least in C# the error makes it really obvious "cannot convert type string to bool" or something like that. Should get it tattooed onto the inside of my left eyelid.
Right now I'm totally into Football Manger 2009, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Supernatural (tv show), Heroes (tv show) and the Premier League (football/soccer, my interest will dwindle if we duck out of the title race :)).
Also the Kings of Leon are awesome. As well as learning C# today I also learned how to play the last couple of songs on their newest album which means I can now play any Kings of Leon song ever on guitar. If only I could sing like Caleb I could be in a Kings cover band.
Snappy Thread Title Here

Thanks y'all for the warm welcome.
On a Kings of Leon related note: I hate bandwagon jumpers. Their concert sold out in like ten minutes this morning! It is sometimes annoying when your favourite band (who I've only got to see live once, which was the first time they ever came out, I bought their CD the next day) gets famous. At least people don't look at me in bewilderment when I mention them now and it's obviously good for them, but I couldn't get tickets to their **** show. Which annoys me.
Of course mostly to blame was the ticket company's broken website which wouldn't let me buy tickets when they were available, then wouldn't answer the phone until they sold out. Scumbags.
