Hiya im new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong section:001_unsure:. But im gonna get to the point basicly i would like to be able to program the usb port to do what i want for various projects including writing data recived from the usb port to a file on the computer.
Now i was wondering what you reckon the best langauge would be to do this in, i would like to beable to program it from windows vista or if not msdos would still be good :), i have done little bits of programing in the past and have good knoweldge on how computers and programing works but im not strong in any langauges atall.
So i would be very greatful if any of you could give me a good starting point :cool:.

Most compiled languages can do this, including all .NET, C++, Java, Delphi, and others.

Also before you start to do this, you would need to learn some basic programming skills so you understand what you are doing before jumping in.
