So I'm curious what kind of music programmers are into. Is it all techno? :P
I listen to a fair bit of Techno. Basshunter, Hallucinogen, Astral Projection, Darude, etc.
Plus a bunch of Christian Rock/Alternative. Like Thousand Foot Krutch, Flyleaf, Kutless, Family Force 5, Casting Crowns and a bunch more.
Generally I'll listen to everything but country and rap.
So what about the rest of you? Also, do you listen to music while you program? I do sometimes, but it's hard to focus I think.
What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to techno, trance, dance, pretty much any kind of EDM. I like the more melodic kinds, and I like music that makes me happy. Here are links to some of my favorite songs:

I mostly listen to pop, and country music.
Programming without music is impossible for me. lol
YouTube - Taylor Swift - Love Story - Official Music Video (HQ)
YouTube - Brad Paisley - The World
YouTube - Avril Lavigne - Innocence Music Video
YouTube - Should've Said No
Almost any Taylor Swift, or Avril Lavigne is good with me.
I'll listen to almost anything except for heavy metal, and rap music, and gospel.. :)
