Ok, so I have not issued a newsletter in several months. The newsletter was fairly boring and only included the latest "updates" for CodeCall. Sometimes TkTech or John or v0id or TcM or HalfSlice would write something (TkTech wrote 2 or 3 entire newsletters) but for the most part it was just me. I have no idea what you guys want to read about or if you even do.
My question to you is: What do you want to be in the Newsletter? Is anyone willing to write articles for the newsletter? Is there any exceptional writers out there willing to take over the monthly newsletter in full?
Before you answer the question, understand the newsletter is a great way for us to reach out to members who are no longer active and a great way to share information amongst all members. This is our chance to get members more involved in CodeCall.

All "news" must be included, I think. Like new tutorials, new gurus, code warriors, mods etc.. New contests, anything special about CC. Perhaps one good tutorial could be in there, if there is space.. Like "the tutorial of the month".. A bit statistic, most active members, threads, number of banned users :D etc Blogs, perhaps.. And what about the Wiki? CC is not just about the forum, so.. New downloads, etc etc.. How big is this newsletter? Like a newspaper or just a small booklet thingy...?

Most retarded members of the month should be included.

That being said, I think we should have a forum something like "Hall of Shame!" hehe
About the newsletter... I don't know that, it's quite good to read.. but it's way boring to make.. I'd prefer writing a tutorial rather than the newsletter..

Why would we want to insult our members by having a hall of shame or adding a most retarded members of the month?

The hall of shame is basically what we already got, with the member quotes threads, but I don't think anybody are insulted... It should be fun, not insulting, or something is done wrong. Most retarded member would probably just be insulting.

Brief News about programming and new technologies would be nice and instead of hall of shame make a hall of glory with the member of the month or the week. Also a thread of the week would be interesting

This forum is all about the members. Anything programming-related should be in the forums themselves; I think the newsletters should be centred around the news of the actual members themselves. New promotions, etc. etc.

Because I enjoy insulting people who think they know what they are talking about and really don't.
