I came to this forum to find help with Java. I cannot seem to get the installation completed due to the fact the program calaims to already exsist in my computer yet I cannot find any trace of it. How can I resolve this issue so I can get on the java sites I used to use on other computers?

To see if you have java installed on your computer, go to a command line and type "java -version" If you get a response, java is already installed. Where it is installed will depend on your operating system.

I am assuming that you are on windows.
If java is already installed, you can test for it here
To remove the java runtime environment, Goto your control panel, goto add/remove programs and look for anything dealing with java and remove it. However this only works if it found java.
If it doesn't find java, try installing it from here

the system will not allow me to determin weather i have java or not and also will not allow me to download program for verification also i am not showing runtime anything

Each method has it's own advantages. We recommend to use the 'KMess Installer' package from our download page, as it always contains the most recent version of KMess.
