FF Blank?

I loaded Firefox 3 this morning, and... I got the shock of my life. The bookmarks toolbar was blank, no homepage was being loaded.

After probing the menus, I found three errors - the status bar at the bottom wasn't working, all my bookmarks had been deleted, and there was no browsing history, autofill, anything.

I reinstalled it, rebooted, it's working fine now. Anyone had this problem?

Yes, I think I even posted a similar thread on here about it. I think my problem was with FF 2 though. A reinstall fixed my problems as well but I lost all plugins.

==> Update: The issue is due to the fact that FF isn't/wasn't shutting down properly. For now, the best fix is to open the Task Manager and kill the process.

I had this several times on my old PC, Running XP.. never happened to me on my laptop running Vista...

I had this problem twice on Windows XP but 3 years aleady I don't have this problem on Ubuntu :)
