Hey everyone, just a bit of an autobiography...

My name's Steve, 19, I'm from Ottawa, Canada, and I'm an undergraduate Software Engineering student, currently in second year. I decided to go into the software field kind of randomly, I had absolutely no programming experience before going off to university. So over the last year and a bit I've been working on catching up to my peers' level of expertise (I think I'm almost there!). Now down to the important stuff...

I have a fair amount of experience in C/C++, Java, Python, and a little bit in PHP/mySQL... Oh, and recently started fooling around with assembly on an 8086 microprocessor simulator, it's really something else LOL *cough*. I've been posting on the forums a decent amount since I joined (pretty much sticking with C/C++, my strongest areas), adding comments or helping out wherever I can. I'll definitely try to contribute my share to the community. :D

Hope to get to know a lot of you soon!
