I'm a student from BC, but am currently studying in Ontario.

I follow programming as a personal interest, but not as a field of academic study. I understand the rhythm and flow of programming languages in general, but currently in the process of learning the vocabulary required to create programs on the fly.

Comfortable with:
- HTML
- Flash ActionScript
- CMD line/.bat files

Currently learning:
- Python

Relatively clueless about:
- Most everything else

Heyy... glad to see this forum actually *is* frequented (and friendly too).

Feel free to take a look at my first posting... it's in Python and it's called "Trying to create some Spy Code".

I think it's a pretty interesting project... let me know if you have any ideas.

Oh yeah, I saw that. Unfortunately, I don't know any Python, but other people do.

Yeah... I don't really know that much Python either... I'm just looking for some ideas in terms of accomplishing what it's asking for. I was debating putting it in a more generic forum, but I am curious as to the capabilities of Python and how closely it can operate with the hardware system.

Actually, maybe I should kill it and move it to the General Programming forum? I know some people can be a little touchy when things are not categorized properly.

Cheers,

Chuck

Actually, we don't have a kill function here. Only admins/mods can do that. If it's about Python, it's fine in the Python forum.
