Hello Everyone,
I am, obviously, new to CodeCall, so I would like to take a minute and do the usual introduction thread. Computers and technology have always held a warm place in my heart since our first introduction, back with the Atari and NES game consoles. Gaming has been a strong motivation in my curiosity concerning the way code comes together and makes something useful or worthwhile. I have always been enthralled by a well structured game, and my first taste of programming was INI file editing for Command and Conquer: Red Alert, however at the time I did not realize I was recoding the game, just thought I found a new method of cheat codes.
Attended a community technical college for about a year in pursuit of a programming degree, but due to personal issues with my now ex-wife, I never completed that degree. Its been about four years since I was in college, and its taken about that long to pull myself back together. Now I want to run after my dreams again, which in a nutshell is to design and code games and virtual environments.
Honestly I am no experienced master of programming, but I am trying to get to that level. Right now I am working with Python just about exclusively, and hoping to learn as much as I can from where ever I can. Your lovely community stuck out to me as a place that I might be able to become a contributing part of, as well as grow a bit myself.
All this said, I look forward to exchanging ideas with you all in the future.
Hello.

Welcome to CodeCall, SolidState!
You should check out our Python resource and frequently asked question threads. In them you can find lots of resources and get your questions answered. You can find them in the Python forum, or in my signature.
