Will your next car be a hybrid, electric, or gas hog? I'm hoping for an electric if they can get the price down where it should be.

It'll depend a lot on what's available. A solar-powered hydrogen engine the recycles the waste water would be mega cool.

I agree. I don't expect to buy another car for 5 or 10 years. Maybe by then they will have smething better.

I haven't read much about the pure electric cars. How are they? Stable? How long before they need recharging and how often do you need new batteries?

From what I've seen, they're either way to expensive or too slow for the highway.

This thread got me doing research on Electric Cars. I found this site: Electric Cars, Green Vehicle :: Phoenix Motorcars, Inc.

The cars will go 110 miles on one charge and will drive @ 95mph. The truck looks neat but I bet it is actually very tiny.

Looks nice, as long as they don't charge a ridiculous price for it.

That was the big problem, $45,000 is what they will be released for I believe. A bit out of my reach (or at least, I'm unwilling to reach that far).

The best one I have found was the Tesla Roadster. It had a 300 mile range and was a really awesome looking vehicle. Problem is that it starts at 109k :(
