I've seen this debate a few times now when it comes to gaming. So let's hear what you guys have to say.

Which form of gaming do you prefer, on the TV or on the computer?

PC for me as well. Besides the things WingedPanther mentioned, it's also way easier to aim in shooting-games on PC.

PC: Everything that Winged Said plus, it's a multi-purpose machine, can attach many different gaming devices to it, better multiplayer gaming experience, tons and tons of games for PC, can be easily upgraded for a better gaming experience... and tons and tons of other reasons...

EDIT: Ow, and forgot to mention.. it can play console games too... using an emulator :D

And the best thing of all... you can install Vista on it! (Lol, just joking)

Console. The quality of free games is lacking most of the time and often buggy. I like the ability to just turn on my tv/console and be right in a game.

My wife uses the TV for background noise. Since my most advanced console is a PSX, I just use the emulator most of the time.

I used to be a hard core PC gammer, but my PC has since become outdated and cannot play most of the new games. For that reason, I am considering buying a $300 xbox 360 rather than a $2000 pc.

Consoles are not for me. They are just money sponges in my opinion that do nothing productive whatsoever. I know its lame but you can buy a emachine for cheaper than some of these consoles.
