Eh? That's not what I said.
What makes you say that?

Ok, we don't care if he gave you rep or not. This thread is about.. laptop batteries?

You don't care.
I don't use my laptop's battery, because my laptop never seems to stray from my desk. The same goes for our Acer downstairs.

But do you use it from time to time? Discharge it, charge it again, and remove it?

Actually, no. Not any more. It's got to the point where it barely holds half an hour's charge! As soon as it gets to 10%, it shuts me down. I can't be bothered to cycle it up and down, because I'll never use the battery. I just keep it in there, and use the power lead all the time.

Ow, so you just leave it plugged into your laptop?

Ow, I thought you actually removed it. I do physically remove it, but I don't know how often should I discharge/charge it..

I think it's healthiest just to charge it fully, then let it discharge, then when you get the warning, charge it up to full again, and keep doing that all the time. I don't, though, because I don't really take my laptop anywhere.

That's too much.. always using the laptop on the battery? Nah.
