When I was learning about yahoo geocities =D at age 10, it was fun. Made an about me page.

First year of college using a text editor and photoshop... since I dropped out third year in 1999... I think I made my first website right around the same time as you...

I spent hours trying to get javascript to work and was completely baffled as to why it wouldn't work even thought I was following tutorials to the tee...

Never learn to program from tutorials on the web... buy a book or read the manual...

[edit] Wait... I still don't think I've ever found a javascript manual... nevermind...

I disagree there are some really great tutorials online. The tutorials on maconstates web site are written by a university professor, so there really good and w3schools are really good.

You don't necessarily need a book to learn something.
