Perhaps they will do it in Windows 7: Windows 7 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

:o Microsoft already has plans for Windows 7 in 2010 and they still haven't convinced a lot of people to get Vista.

Windows Vista may be good but my computer can't use it. I'm not quite ready to give up Windows XP just yet.

I run a heavily modified Ubuntu desktop, (I installed kde and zsh, and mucked about with the themes, and wrote my own screensaver, installed lots of games, made a script to automatically archive unused directories at 5 AM, etc.)
