Hi, I'm Steeve. I'm 20 years old and live in Antwerp, Belgium where I'm currently studying for a master in automotive engineering.

I've always been interested in technology and science. I like programming because it is an challenging activity that needs intelligence, creativity and insight.
The major problem I have with programming is that I'm doing it aimlessly. The lack of a reason to program makes it hard for me to learn anything thoroughly. It is also hard to choose what language to learn when you don't have a use for it anyway.
In search of guidance I've joined this forum.

Very recently I started to learn C. I want to learn everything about it. It's applications, it's possibilities, it's limitations, it's advantages and disadvantages and of course also how to use it myself. I will allow it to consume most of my free time, since I think it's time well spent.

Yeah learn C, and don't let anyone talk you out of it in favor of some .NET crap or for some higher level stuff.
