Hi to everyone here at CodeCall, I am jpeor. I am a college student trying to get in to programing, & also in need of some dire help to get there. I have some minor experience in java & am presently working in visual studio 2008. I admit that I'm mainly hear for the tutorals.

Welcome to jpeor! You're better than most people, who sign up just to get the code, and post rubbish. VS2008 is great - which language(s)?

I am using the whole studio in express editions of course although I'm still newbie enough that can't pick a favorite. I'm thanking C++/C# because of its similarity to java witch I all ready have experience with.

My favourite is C#, although I began with VB. Both are excellent languages. :)

Hmm... the Java syntax is pretty much the same as C#. And C++ is good because it doesn't need to rely on the .NET Framework (although it can with managed C++).

I like Java because it reminds me a lot of JavaScript syntax and functions. :o

Although the name means nothing - after all, JS used to be called LiveScript.

Yeah I know their not much a like but they seemed similar to me with quite a bit of the stuff. Which is why I caught on fairly quickly. :)
