Aw, come on now, TcM, don't leave me so unsatisfied! Make things valid - for me?

Nah, I'm not in the mood actually... Besides that, for me to edit that I have to edit like 5 files, and things are displayer correctly on FF and IE (seems impossible) so why would I modify them? It can make it worst!

I was just saying, you'll never get those thrills of having a fully valid page.

There is a FireFox addon called HTML validator that may help. I can't use normal validators on most of my work because all they see are the login screen.

I don't follow. What do you mean by they only see the login screen?

I use the Web Developer Toolbar for Firefox. It's excellent - keyboards shortcuts are provided for disabling images, CSS, validating, exploring the objects on a page... the list is endless.

The website work that I do is all secured content. Go to index.asp and you get a login screen. The form variables are validated in index.asp to start generating content. It's one visible site with form content and session data driving the pages that are presented. An external validator will pass a new session, and get the login screen.

Oh, I see. So you can't validate it then with W3C? :(
Modern web developing software has built-in syntax checking, so that's some help.

Built-in syntax checking gets tricky when your source code is a mixture of ASP and ColdFusion with some stray non-HTML code tossed in for good measure.

I know what you mean - when I'm working with PHP files using SSI (code all broken up into different files), it gets annoying when it tries to tell me there's no end tag for something, that actually starts in a another file. Then again, my code's so perfect that I don't need syntax checking. ;)
