Hello everyone,
I'm a web designer/developer (well, sort of), I'm new here and I wish you all a calm and successful day!
At the moment, I am looking for a simple way to encrypt strings (particularly e-mail addresses) for a newsletter manager I am currently coding--and I am curious what I'll find (or if the search that brought me here already proved successful)!

Welcome to CodeCall, Per!
You would probably get more answers to your question, if you said what language you're using.

Yep, good point! :)
This was actually not meant as a question, rather as a way to describe myself and what I am currently working on.
But if someone knows a 1. simple and 2. mildly* secure encryption method in PHP and could tell me, I'd be grateful!
*(I want to avoid publishing e-mail addresses in an "?unsubscribe=user@example.com" fashion)
Cheers,

No, not really, but I know some words, including "Gezeiten," in this case.

Yes, probably. I do prefer good old dictionaries in real-life book-format, though.

Hey, thank you very much for your kind welcome!
Yes, Gezeiten is German (like me) for "tides" (unlike me).
Xav, about the PHP issue: I will open a thread in the right place and explain.
See you soon! :)

Sure! Just go ahead!
Dein Satz war fast richtig: "ich lerne deutsch in der Schule". "kann ich dich fragen?"
You can always ask me for help. I can not promise I will always answer instantly, but I will try to! :)
Wie lange hast du schon Deutschunterricht?
Cheers,
Per
