Hello, My name is Jeff and I'm not really a great programming, but I'm learning. I stumbled upon the site looking for how to make a program that would add itself to startup with a simple code that I actually understood, as opposed to fiddling with just copy pasting someone else's work. The forum looks like a good place to learn some tricks so I figured I'd join. :)

Welcome to CC, Jeff! Depending on which language you're using, the startup code is pretty easy to do. Just post the question in the relevant forum and we'll gladly help you out! I specialise in .NET, but if you're not using it then I'm sure lots of other members will have answers for you. :)

Well, for the time being I've mostly worked in Visual Basic, since it's what my high school computer teacher knows and therefore what we've been taught. I've looked at C++, and In the fall I'll be getting more in depth with that since I'm entering a software engineering University Program.

Many people start off with Visual Basic, it's a pretty good starter language.

I learnt VB, and I wasn't scarred. :)

It's more simple to learn - Visual Basic, see?
