Hi, I'm a programmer working in VB6 at the moment, but hope to get into Java over the course of the next 2 years (time is of the essence with a family!).

I'm hoping to learn a load about VB6 Winsock more than anything at the moment... My current "project" is to make a game server browser for Quake 3 (and maybe other games too in the future) since the disappointing demise of All-Seeing-Eye.

I'm sure I'll speak to a few of you on the forums in the future :)

Hi Jordan, thanks for the welcome :)

I'm unsure what caused it to go under. I think Yahoo! decided to scrap it as if you go to the ASE website, it says it is no longer available and to try Gamespy instead.
