Hi all, I'm new here and thought I'd say hi!

I've been knocking around with a few programming languages for about a year or so, and decided to try C++ in earnest about a month ago. So far I've been following Sam's Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours and I've managed to get past a few roadblocks that had frustrated me before, so I think I'm getting a good grasp on it. Other languages I want to tackle later include Perl and JavaScript, but I don't want to get too far ahead on myself.

Hopefully this forum will give me the help and support that books can't!
