Anyone messed with it? Im working for City Of Goodyear in AZ, and we just got one of the first copies, its pretty nice to be honest, and I dont like windows. Makes 2003 look like childs play and 2000 a joke...

I got in an argument with this kid about it, he said that every good fortune 500 company is on 2008 for a reason, its the best, and linux is shitty, and thats why professionals dont use it...

I then pulled up a list of like 500 companies that use Linux OS, and a ton of them were fortune 500..

Then something funny happened.. it came out. Yes, if my friend is correct, all the good fortune 500 companies have a time machine, go into the future about a week, and grab a copy of Windows server 2008.

crazy!

We haven't upgraded to it yet nor do we have any copies at my workplace. At the rate we move version 2012 will be out by the time we move to 2008. Server 2003 isn't bad, IMO but I still prefer Linux/Unix. Our Unix server has an uptime of around 300 days and our Linux server around 40 (one of our IT guys feels the need to reboot it every time there is a problem, instead of fixing the problem).
