Hi,

I am Yannis, a GIS guy. I am currently working with Visual Basic 6.0 in order to create various graphics related to geographical analysis. I have had some minor experience with Java programming but it is more like a memory right now...
I come from Greece originally, and currently live in England. Glad to be part of this forum, and hope we can all help each other when needed.

Welcome to codecall.. wow rea;;y thought the no one used VB 6.0 nowadays... and I thought that I wasted my time learning it, but I think I was wrong because I see many people around using it.

Just because languages are old, it doesn't mean they aren't great languages that should be used in the modern world. It's still worth checking out VB.NET, though - the move can bring you up to date with the latest UIs and development software.
