I spend a lot of time sitting on my computer and eating hella junk food. I went to the doctor for a check up and got my cholesterol tested. It was really high! I was surprised because I am a slim dude with a high metabolism.

Turns out age and fitness (although exercising helps drop levels) don't have anything to do with cholesterol levels. I'm trying to fix this issue by eating better. I would recommend you all get tested. If you guys live in Australia, my doctor told me about this site which has info about free tests available.

Anyone got any other cholesterol stories they want to share?

Edit: Oops accidentally posted half way through changing the title. Meant to be drop the pressure.

Yikes! It seems to be catching.

My Doc phoned me last week. My Cholesterol level was 'normal' last year, raised 6 months ago, and 7.5 last month.

Oh, well, good bye eggs and sausages, hello smoothies.

Simply jog in the mornings for an hour or so, and it will help a lot in the long term.
