Hi all,
I need to write a program which will block/unblock access to internet and games on a PC. This should preferrably run on any OS. Could anyone please offer me any tips on how this is done? Which language should I use?

If you intend on making a firewall you probably want to take a look and learn about Routing and Remote Access. You could also make proxy server and route all of your internet traffic through one machine. This would eliminate the need to install your firewall software on every PC.
Also, there are a ton of options (free and paid) which you can utilize.

Exactly. However, if you still want to develop the computer software on your own, then I recommend the usage of the computer programming language Java, although there are alot of negative contradictions, that we're aware of.

Without a doubt, but maybe we should support a little bit more independent and motivated work.

What do I mean? I mean that its right to give advices, but not to support laziness. I don't mean that it fits in this case, however it is a generally known thing. You'll understand it better, when you'll be studying something or maybe be a university professor.

Hmm... but if hordine is asking for help, then presumably hordine doesn't know what to do. There's no harm in helping someone who needs help, is there?

I fully agree. The following is a small correction.
