Well I would recommend a laser printer.

They are very fast when it comes to printing. Besides that, I don't know what other specs you wanna know.

well, primary you are interested in the max resolution you can get (dots per inch) and the kind of paper you use, like different sizes, texture and all that.
And last you have the printing speed.

depending on the use i would recomend an inkjet since laser are too pricy.

I would suggest any Basic 3-in-1 HP printer.

Well inkjet are quite slow, and I think that laser printers yes, are a little expensive, but the toner lasts after an inkjet cartridge, besides that inkjet printers waste a lot of ink.

I did say that it depends on the use,if we are talking about text and some pimple pics an inkjet will cost less than a black and white laser.

I would suggest a laser printer but it depends on what you want.

I have an all in one epson but the all-in-one HP printers are good also.

check the dpi rating. Higher the dpi, better the print is and better the price. Go for hp. They offer good service and product quality. Also check the paper sizes. Do not look for features you would rarely use. Instead focus your budget on what you would need at optimum and frequent level.

Well I usually print long assignment like 50 pages+ and I need it to be fast with a good image quality.

You know any good brands? I don't need any 3-in-1, I already have a scanner and not much space to put my printer in.

My favorite printer brands are HP and Epson, though I haven't been able to not find a 3-1 printer.

The only thing I don't like about my epson is that you have to buy four cartridges and when one cartridge runs out, you can't use any of the other ones.
