Hello all!
My name is Chris.
I'm not a professional programmer, far from it. Although I have been programming every now and then since many years ago, I've never taken the time needed to actually become skilled. The languages (I do include intepreting languages also) I have sniffed on include: AMOS (ah, that was the days), BASIC (of course, who haven't?), C, C++, assembler, ADA, javascript, java, php, PLC (don't know what the language was named, but it was a bit assembler-alike, although way easier), and probably some more.
The ones I'm most familiar with are C, C++ and PHP. Although, it's about 3-4 years since I touched any C or C++.
But, I'm getting more into assembler, because I develop stuff using MCU's (mostly 8-bit PIC's from Microchip), and I feel that I really do need to learn assembler more. At least the instruction set is only 35 instructions for Microchip's 8-bit MCU's :)
I will also need to start programming PC-applications (that are supposed to mate with my MCU-applcations).
I will probably spam you guys with stupid questions, but You can also rest assure that I will try to contribute as much as I can.
Thank you for the word,
/Chris
