how a payroll system work??

payroll system is more in computing salary what kind of code can i use
to work the program payroll system sir..

i use Microsoft access connecting to visual basic 6.0...

It is way too general question.. you need to ask for example
how can I connect a db to vb6.0
after that you can ask how to display the results
etc....
we can guide you step by step.. not the whole project at once.
