Hello - just joined today.
I run my own business writing software (Windows) for gardeners and poultry keepers. Both products are aimed at enthusiastic vegetable growers/allotment holders and smallholders.
I work from a shed in the back garden so I can hear my chickens calling and see my vegetables grow.
I am working towards making the whole business carbon neutral - not an easy thing to do as wood burning stoves (for heating) and a windmill (for lighting and powering my pc) both require a big investment. Still, one step at a time...

Welcome AncientGardener. Your software looks very neat although I don't grow any greens, I would like to eliminate the power bill at my house as well. I'm currently working on a small micro-hydro generator for my house but we use a lot more than lights and a PC (48-118K watt hours a day in winter). If you need any help just let us know.
