hey .......im trying to create a program that recognizes a certain symbol (most likely gonna be a U).. and then clicks on it

the program will be for an online game thats just off the internet...but we're attempting to make a public autoer...we were just wondering what programing language we should use for it....and also any help with the actual programming of the reconization part we have no clue on how to accomplish this

Are the symbols on the screen in text, on a graphics screen, or generated by what? What application or utility causes the symbol to appear and where?

its an online game......thats a crossword puzzle.....but from playing you get points....there is a button that says give up on it that are connected to the words but some of them also have a hint button which moves over the give up button......and the hint buttons change for the different words each time so the give up buttons are never in the same spot.....the game is called flexicon by the way incase u wanna check it out
